Baja Fish Tacos with Mango Slaw

Flaky seasoned fish tucked into warm tortillas and topped with a bright, juicy mango slaw and creamy lime drizzle—these tacos are light, refreshing, and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
For the Fish:
- 1 lb white fish (cod, tilapia, or mahi mahi)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt & black pepper
Mango Slaw:
- 2 cups shredded cabbage (or coleslaw mix)
- 1 ripe mango, diced
- ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 Tbsp honey
- Pinch of salt
Lime Crema:
- ¼ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 Tbsp mayo
- Juice of ½ lime
- Pinch of salt
For Serving:
- Small corn or flour tortillas
- Extra cilantro
- Lime wedges
- Optional: sliced jalapeños or avocado
Directions
1️⃣ Season & Cook the Fish
- Pat fish dry and rub with olive oil, spices, lime juice, salt, and pepper
- Grill: 3–4 minutes per side
- Skillet: Cook over medium-high heat until flaky and lightly browned
Break into chunks once cooked.
2️⃣ Make the Mango Slaw
- In a bowl, combine cabbage, mango, onion, cilantro, lime juice, honey, and salt
- Toss well and let sit for 5–10 minutes

3️⃣ Make the Crema
- Mix sour cream, mayo, lime juice, and salt until smooth
4️⃣ Assemble the Tacos
- Add fish to warm tortillas
- Top with mango slaw
